'Stable Days' for the 2018 AANC
A 'Stable Day' is the length of time competitors are allowed to occupy a stable at SIEC for a 24(ish) hour period during the Australian Arabian National Championships. This cost for each Stable Day is $35. Stable Days, which always include one overnight, may be utlised as follows:
- Prior Evening Arrival: exhibit arrives & occupies stable the evening/late afternoon (preferably after 5PM) prior to the actual day the stable is needed. The stable must be vacated before 10PM the following evening to avoid an extra Stable Day charge.
- Show Day Morning Arrival: exhibit arrives & occupies stable the morning (after 6AM) of the allocated Stable Day as indicated on the entry form. Ideally, the stable should be vacated prior to10PM the same day to avoid an extra Stable Day charge. Should an exhibitor opt to remain in the stable overnight on the actual show day, they should coordinate with the Stable Monitor to depart the following morning before 8AM to avoid incurring an extra Stable Day fee.
- Multiple-Day Occupation: Exhibitors travelling long distances or those exhibiting on multiple days of the event will likely require multiple continuous Stable Days. These exhibitors are encouraged to arrive early to allow ample recovery time for their horses. As such, Stable Days for these exhibitors includes the actual overnight for each Stable Day booked, i.e. Stable Days booked for Wednesday through Saturday will include the overnight on each of those same days. This allows for an overnight on the final day of showing prior to a morning departure the following day.
Simply stated: ALL OCCUPATION OF A STABLE AFTER 10PM WILL BE COUNTED AS A STABLE DAY. Please ascertain which of the above following scenarios best suits your needs as an exhibitor and reserve/pay for your stabling accordingly.
No arrivals are permitted prior to 6AM or after 10PM without prior arrangement and approval from the Stable Monitor.
