Entries Open | 2018 Australian Arabian National Championships
Entries are now officially open for the 2018 Australian Arabian National Championships. With the New Year & Holiday season fast upon us, it is time to think about nominating your horses for Aussies, as the dates for the 2018 AANC have been moved forward a week to 08-10 (Thursday-Saturday) March.
New for 2018, the entry process has been streamlined, with a revised entry form and electronic payments processed via the AHSA Payment Gateway. The ever capable Katherine McMahon has taken on the role of entry Secretary for 2018. She looks forward to assisting competitors with their entries.
A new jackpot class has also been added to the Thursday evening program: Freestyle Liberty Lip Sync Jackpot. Competitors will have the chance to showcase their lip-sync talent alongside an equine companion performing at liberty. Plan ahead now as serious prize and bragging rights are at stake!
The Ultra Arabian & Versatility Challenges are also back for 2018, with expansion to include the Arabian Derivatives in their own category of competition. Please refer the updated 2018 Rules & Conditions for Entry for complete details.
Sylvie Eberhardt from Germany & Van Jacobsen from the USA will be with us in 2018 as invaluable members of our international halter judging team, joining National-panel judges Nancy Wall & Belinda O'Connor. Kathy Saggers & Jacqui Langfield will head the talented team of performance judges, with Lorlei Payne adding her considerable expertise in the open hack & Western disciplines to the panel.
